Four browns, four moods
- Taupe Brown. The darkest, with a touch of grey. It wears like a neutral, office included.
- Sandstone. A sandy tan with a little yellow in it.
- Sand. Lighter and slightly pinker than Sandstone. Crew neck only.

What to wear it with
- Taupe Brown under a navy blazer. The best pairing here. It looks considered, not default.
- Sand or Sandstone with dark denim. Pale tan against dark blue gives contrast without a bright colour.
- Oat over a white shirt with grey trousers. Quiet, and smart enough for a jacket.
- Not black. These browns look unfinished next to black.

Who it suits
Brown flatters warm and olive skin most, and dark or auburn hair. If you are fair with soft colouring, Sand and Oat can blend into your skin. Take Taupe Brown, or a V-neck with a shirt collar to break it up.

Taupe Brown, Sandstone and Oat. Sand comes on the crew neck only.
What is the difference between Sand and Sandstone?
Sand is lighter and warmer, with a slight pink cast. Sandstone is a shade deeper and a touch cooler. Sandstone comes on both necklines, Sand on the crew neck only.
Does brown go with black?
Not these browns. They are mid to pale, and they look unfinished next to black. Wear them with navy, grey or denim instead.
Is Oat a grey or a brown?
A brown. Oat is a pale, warm taupe, so it sits with the browns rather than the greys.
